I read Milne's Red House Mystery and liked it well enough that I looked for more mysteries that he had written. I hoped that this title was a quote from one of the characters, but it's a collection of articles written for a periodical. I agreed with his assessment--they really don't matter!
How can you go wrong on a classic and the other books that he wrote, forget the time they were written in and immerse yourslef in them
I am just loving this book, and feeling like an idiot for not realizing that AA Milne wrote things for adults! Feel like I've discovered a jewel.
Charming, light-hearted reading.
Almost like a journal - kind of rambly. I wasn't knocked out.
This is my current bedtime read. I am loving every page. The hard part is rationing myself to only one story each night. I really don't want to put it down to go to sleep.
This takes you back to the time after WW1 and is a window into English life. Nice work and very different from his more famous Winnie the Pooh stories.6J10AH2
